Cycling has made a HUGE splash into my life. I have been waiting for this feeling for about 4 years. I have wanted a road bike, and wanted a road bike, and I finally got one about 6 weeks ago.
I just completed my first back to back weeks hitting 100 miles! The month of May I racked up about 280 miles total, and I plan on hitting 500 this month for the Great Cycle Challenge!
I was out of bed at 5:30 am this morning, on a Sunday. Was in the saddle at 6 am, and did a run to Keystone and back. 16 miles, 56 minutes. Came home and showered, and now I get to go “work” all day in the cannabis industry.
This is the life I have been waiting for.
There’s the key word. “Waiting”.
Sometimes you have to wait, it’s strategic.
Sometimes…..waiting will get you killed.
What is the life you want?
I have been trying to put together THIS day, for how many YEARS. Now, the moment has arrived, and it feels every ounce as good as I had expected, and then some.
Please friends, go get what it is that you are searching for. Listen to your gut, and run as hard and as fast as you can. Don’t listen to the naysayers, listen to the support network you have built around yourself, and most importantly, listen to that inner voice that has been guiding you all along.
Cheers, carpe diem!
