The morning air

6 am…

Get out of bed
The sky is still dark
The surrounding area quiet
An occasional car passes in the distance

I am left with my thoughts and the air.

It has been a stressful month of September, and I have used several techniques to cope with it.

This morning stillness is special. It helps to let things settle internally.

We often run from this.

We often can’t handle the sound of our own thoughts, so we fill up our day with distractions.

However, this is one of the healthiest things that we can do.

Allow yourself to be free.

Get up early simply to do nothing.

Just for the art of waking up for YOU.

See we all want more time, yet we waste a considerable amount of it on a daily basis.

So get up today.

Get yourself out of bed, and go after what you want.

Make it a priority to make progress towards your goals every day.

What are you doing? TODAY?

What are you working towards?

Where do you want to be in one year? 5 years? 10 years?

Take a step towards that today. Then take another tomorrow.

Do this every single day, and see how quickly life changes.
